"Kegs and eggs" was taken to a new level on Saturday morning, when Woodbridge resident Terrance Whitaker made idle threats toward customers enjoying an early morning - or late night - meal.
Members of the Stafford County Sheriff's Office were called to IHOP on Worth Avenue shortly after 5 a.m. on Jan. 13, where investigators say that the 25-year-old was showing signs of intoxication and making threats toward people inside the restaurant.
Whitaker was initially reluctant to provide his name, according to investigators, but it was later determined that he was wanted in Prince William County for battery and failure to make a court appearance, and when he was searched, deputies seized a controlled substance.
Whitaker was charged with possession of a controlled substance, inhaling drugs and public intoxication. The Prince William warrants were served and Whitaker was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober enough to face a bond hearing.
