This Little Piggy Went All The Way To Jail In Stafford
A sheriff's deputy had a run-in with a road hog over the weekend during a traffic stop in Stafford County. In a pun-filled hammy press release, The Stafford County Sheriff's Office detailed how a deputy rescued a pig on the Fourth of July. Deputy Connelly was in the middle of a traffic stop when the swine sallied up to him on U.S. 1 just after 6:30 a.m. The deputy teamed up with some people in the area to capture the pig using dog food as bait. Inmate's Release Short-Lived After Assault Of Virginia Jail Employee
An unruly inmate’s freedom didn’t last long in Virginia as she was thrown back behind bars shortly after being released from a Stafford County jail. Charlottesville resident Nicole Dean, 37, was apprehended after allegedly assaulting a jail clerk and causing property damage on her way out of the Rappahannock Regional Jail in Stafford, authorities announced. High-Speed Chase in Stafford Reaches 116 MPH: Police
A high-speed chase on Monday, May 30, reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour before deputies could end it, police said. Daniel Moore, 24, kicked off the chase around 6:30 p.m. on Memorial Day after he sped past a Stafford County sheriff's deputy on U.S. 1 near Centreport Parkway in Staffford, authortiies said.
