A DUI driver from South Carolina is behind bars in Virginia after intentionally setting off a series of crashes on Richmond Highway overnight, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Rome Washington, 40, of Columbia, is facing a host of charges that include attempted murder after striking a BMW motorcyclist from behind on Monday night in a Subaru SUV without provocation on Richmond Highway. Spotsy Motorcyclist, 41, Killed In Head-On Crash
A 41-year-old Spotsylvania motorcyclist was killed in a crash Wednesday, Aug. 30, authorities said. Kendall Wade Neas was operating a 2016 Suzuki motorcycle on the 4200 block of Massaponax Church Road when he crossed the double yellow line coming out of a curve at a high rate of speed around 6:30 p.m., Major Troy Skebo of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office said. Subaru Recalling 272K SUVs Due To Potential Fire Hazard
Hundreds of thousands of Subaru SUVs are the latest vehicles subject to a nationwide recall due to the potential they could unexpectedly catch fire. The auto giant announced a recall of 271,694 Subaru Ascent SUVs with produced in the 2019 through 2022 model years due to a faulty electrical grounding bolt that may have been improperly fastened, according to the company.
