A 20-year-old Fredericksburg man was arrested after stabbing his mother’s boyfriend and then calling 911 to report the incident, authorities announced. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Townsend Boulevard at approximately 8:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, following the suspect’s call. When they arrived, they found Jaydon Mathew Staples flagging them down outside the residence. Girl Hits Woman During Fredericksburg Target Store Screaming Match In Front Of Deputy: Sheriff
Two women and a girl arguing loudly brought a police response to a Target parking lot in Stafford, police said. The trio were screaming and causing a scene at the South Gateway Drive store in Fredericksburg, around 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, the county sheriff's office said. However, one of the women would not calm down and continued yelling and cursing, police said. The girl then hit that woman, the sheriff's office said. The girl was issued a criminal complaint for assault and battery while the woman who refused to stop making a scene was charged with disorderly conduct, police said. …

Police ID Man Killed By Officers During Crisis Intervention Call In Northwest DC
New details have been released by the Metropolitan Police Department after a 41-year-old Northeast DC man was killed in an officer-involved shooting. At around 6:45 a.m. on Jan. 24, members of the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Benning Road NE to assist a man who was in crisis, according to Chief Pamela Smith. Mental Health Crisis: Man Now Safe After Fairfax Home Barricade Incident
Officers responded to the residence of a man experiencing a mental health crisis on Thursday, August 4, police said. Sometime before 8:15 p.m., police arrived to the 8100 block of Halley Court in Lorton to assist a man who barricaded himself inside, according to Fairfax County Police. Police asked the public to avoid the area, and also closed both Halley Court and McCarty Road, as they try to resolve the incident peacefully, officials said. The man was taken into custody later that evening and the incident was resolved, authorities said.
