With millions of travelers hitting the road before Thanksgiving, some will have to wait to reach their destination after a multi-vehicle crash temporarily blocked several lanes on I-270. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel responded at around noon on Wednesday, Nov. 27 to a stretch of the northbound lanes involving multiple vehicles and a tractor-trailer. A 26-year-old Maryland man was arrested for leading a police pursuit across state lines into Virginia on July 4, authorities announced. Frederick Njihia fired a gun multiple times at a Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission worker and a man standing next to his truck around 9:50 a.m., bringing police to the 11300 block of Hawks Ridge Terrace in Germantown, Montgomery County police said. A driver's dashcam captured a horrific I-270 crash in which a semi-truck being cut off a passenger car, seriously hurting a child over the weekend in Montgomery County.
