Man Dies 12 Days After Serious Lancaster County Crash, Police Say A man has died in the hospital from injuries sustained in a serious car crash the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department announced on Monday, April 22. Scooter Rider Hospitalized With 'Life-Threatening Injuries' After Strike By SUV, Nlcrpd Say A man in his 20s is in the hospital with "life-threatening injuries" after being struck by an SUV on Friday afternoon, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police announced the following morning.  Officers with the NLCRPD were called to a report of a "pedestrian struck" at the intersection of Main Street/PA Route 72 and Martin Drive in East Petersburg Borough at approximately 3:51 p.m. Arriving officers found a young man lying in the middle of Main Street and his scooter was lodged under a Nissan Pathfinder (pictured). Car Slammed Into Central PA Medical Build, Police Say An SUV crashed into a medical building on Tuesday morning, police say. The Northern Lancaster County Regional police were called to a vehicle that had struck the side of the East Petersburg Family Medicine Facility building, located in the 5000 block of Main Street in East Petersburg around 7:30 a.m., according to a release by police. Upon arrival police found that the driver, Diribe Ruffo of Lancaster, had lost control of a 2015 Mazda SUV during a turn and collided with the side of the building, according to the release.
