A 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly Valentine’s Day shooting in West York, authorities said.
Ronald Cilik Boyd Jr., of York, was apprehended by the US Marshals and York County Drug Task Force on Wednesday night.
Boyd was wanted for allegedly shooting and killing Angel Perez II, 30, who was targeted and shot around 3 a.m. on Feb. 14 in the 1400 block of West Market Street at an after-hours party in a Caribbean Restaurant, according to police.
Perez, of Marion Road in Springettsbury Township, died at WellSpan York Hospital on Feb. 15 from multiple gunshot wounds after being shot in the chest at close range, according to the York County Coroner's Office.
Boyd's preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 2.
