The Northern York County Regional police were called to the shooting at the Days Inn located at 334 Arsenal Road in Manchester Township around 5L35 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, according to a release by the department.
Upon arrival, officers found a 41-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head lying in the courtyard of the hotel. The second victim, a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg was found in a private vehicle, leaving the area.
Both men are being treated at York Hospital, and "the 41-year-old male has life-threatening injuries," the NYCRPD states in the release.
The suspect was described as a Black man, wearing all-black clothing and a facemask.
The investigation into this incident in ongoing.
