The crash occurred just after 2 p.m. and may have involved a white work van that overturned, LehighValleyLive reports citing Bethlehem Police Capt. Tim Cooper.
The man was pronounced dead around 3 p.m., the outlet reports.
Meanwhile, the highway between the Eighth Avenue and Main Street exits were closed for several hours during the ongoing crash investigation, which is being led by the Bethlehem Police Department and Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
