A 27-year-old Connecticut man behind the wheel of a tractor trailer apparently failed to stop for a line of cars around 2:15 p.m. on Hamilton Boulevard right near Newtown Road, WFMZ reports.

The trailer struck a pick-up truck that was pushed into a van, which was pushed into a car, the outlet said.

Nester Video Production captured footage from the scene, showing two victims requiring extrication and several severely damaged cars being towed.

Crews from multiple fire departments responded.

Police said the ten victims were hospitalized with various injuries.
