An unnamed Pennsylvania Lottery player won $500,000 in the Wednesday, May 10 Powerball® with Power Play® drawing, lotto reps said in a release.

The 7-Eleven at 1801 South 4th St. in Allentown will receive a $500 check for selling the winning slip, officials added.

The player will not be identified until their prize is claimed and their ticket is validated, lotto reps said. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes, and should always sign the backs of their tickets immediately.

More than 11,800 other Pennsylvania Lottery players won prizes of some amount in the Wednesday drawing, and every player is encouraged to double-check their slips.
