90-Year-Old Reading Man Dies After Lancaster Crash: Officials
A Reading man died from his injuries following a two-car crash in Lancaster County, state troopers say. It happened near Good's Feed Mill, 949 Dry Tavern Road in Brecknock Township, on Jan. 22, according to the police report. Donald F. Swavely, 90, pulled out of the Good's parking lot when a southbound Jeep Compass struck his Hyundai Sonata, authorities said. Sinkhole Diverts Traffic In West Chester
A sinkhole opened up on East Chesnut Street in West Chester on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 25, officials said. The center lane of the 50 block of East Chestnut is closed and drivers traveling in the area should use caution, said borough police spokesman Dave March. Elderly Pedestrian Critically Hurt In Delco Crash: Police
A senior is in the hospital after police said he was hit by a car in Marple Township on Saturday morning, Dec. 23. The elderly man was crossing Broomall Avenue when he was struck by a southbound vehicle near West Chester Pike around 10:20 a.m., township police said in a release.
