The body was floating in the water near the 1300 block of South Duke Street, near the parking area of the Conestoga Greenway walking trail, say Lancaster city police.
The body has "been there for a while," according to police.
The Lancaster County Coroner's Office was called to the scene and an investigation is on-going.
