House Fire Caused By Fireworks Ruled Arson, Say State Police In York County

A house fire in York County has been ruled an arson after fireworks were found at the scene, according to State Police.

Fire crews were called to an abandoned home in the 15000 block of Thompson Road just before 10 p.m., say police.

Fireworks were found next to the home.

A Roman Candle was the specific type of firework that set the house ablaze.

PSP continue to investigate and have determined that the fireworks were purchased from Sky King’s inventory.

Anyone with information related to this fire is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police in York at 717-428-1011.
