Widow Taking Legal Action After Scientist Husband Was Killed At NJ Intersection
A New Jersey widow is taking legal action to obtain additional details from a New Jersey police department in the crash that killed her 32-year-old husband last fall. Matthew H. Bunner, a scientist with Bristol Myers Squibb and a University of Pennsylvania graduate, was out for a walk when he was struck and killed by a 66-year-old driver in East Brunswick at about 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 1, 2023, according to the police report and his obituary. Moments after it was announced that University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill was resigning, Board of Trustees Chairman Scott Bok followed suit. More than a year after a UPenn student from New Jersey died, her family has filed a wrongful death suit against Panera. Sarah Katz, of Jersey City, died at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center on Sept. 10, 2022, according to her obituary. Forbes has compiled a list of the best large companies to work for in America, and one is in Pennsylvania. The list was compiled as a partner project with market research firm Statista. Forbes and Satista surveyed about 450,000 workers at US companies with at least 5,000 employees. Former University of Pennsylvania basketball player Cameron Gunter died on Thursday, Jan. 19, the team announced on Twitter. He was 31 years old.
