A 63-year-old New York man has been identified as the suspected Hersheypark Slasher, Derry Township police announced on Friday morning, Sept. 6. A "slash and grab," happened in the parking lot of Hersheypark, Derry Township police announced on Friday, Aug. 2. The man pictured was rummaging in the backseat of the victim's car when they were confronted by the owner of the vehicle and their family around 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. A man "fighting with customers" outside a shopping plaza assaulted officers who came to investigate on Sunday, police claim. Anthony Belfere was found lying on the ground "yelling profanities" outside the Target at 1008 Lititz Pike, around 11:46 a.m. on Aug. 13, Northern Lancaster County Regional police announced the following day.
