Multi-Vehicle Crash Partially Closes I-81 In Central PA: PennDOT (Developing) A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer has led to lane restriction on Interstate 81, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice on Friday, Aug. 9.  The crash happened on I-81 South in the center and right lane at mm 58.3 around 4:40 p.m., according to Schreffler.  The lane restriction is at Exit 59: Route 581 East to Route 11: Camp Hill, according to PennDOT's 511PA. PSP and Beltway Patrol are on the scene.  No injuries have been reported at the time of publishing.  Check back here for possible updates.

PA State Police Car Catches Fire On Route 80 A PSP vehicle caught fire on a Luzerne County highway late Monday, July 15, according to officials.  The blaze happened on Route 80 near mile marker 272.1, said White Haven Fire Company. Troopers brought the flames under control by the time firefighters arrived, and a hose was used to soak down the engine compartment, authorities said.  No one was injured, the fire company added.  Daily Voice has reached out to PSP for details on what caused the fire.

Cold CASE: Remains Of Unidentified Child Found In Philadelphia's Germantown Almost 40 years after her remains were discovered in Philadelphia, authorities are still working to identify the Collom Street Jane Doe.  Skeletal remains including a skull, a jaw, and three other bones were located in a wooded area on Nov. 25, 1984, according to state police and the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System. The bones were discovered by a resident's dog behind a property at 456 E. Collom Street, authorities say. NY Sex Offender Who Absconded Wanted By Pennsylvania State Police State troopers are looking for a New York sex offender who has not kept up with his registration requirements, according to authorities.  Edwin Rolando Padron, 57, was convicted in 2012 of possessing child sexual abuse material, PSP said.  The state Megan's Law website shows Padron's most recent address as 1043 Washington Street in Easton and says he works in or near Allentown and Salisbury Township.  He is 5-foot-10 and 220 pounds with brown eyes and black/gray hair, authorities said.  Anyone with information on Padron's whereabouts is asked to call PSP at 610-87…
