Fire At Lancaster County High School Woodshop Forces Classes Online For Days
A fire at a high school wood shop forced the district to switch to online or remote learning for a minimum of two days, officials announced on Tuesday morning. Intially fire crews were called to Maheim Tonwship High School for a report of smoke showing at 5:18 p.m. on Monday, April 1, officials explained. The fire was found fire in a dust collector on the exterior of the high school off the wood shop. Lititz's Luician Li's Funeral Scheduled After Chester County Crash
A week after he succumbed to his injuries after a Chester County highway crash, loved ones and neighbors are memorializing Lititz student-athlete Lucian Li. Investigators have said 42-year-old Matthew DeAngelis was headed the wrong way on Route 202 when he crashed head-on into Li's Volkswagen Taos just after midnight on Friday, July 14. DeAngelis was pronounced dead at the scene, while 19-year-old Li died on Monday, July 17, Daily Voice reported. Lititz Teen Athlete Dies Days After Chester County Crash: State Police
Another driver is dead days after the collision that killed 42-year-old Matthew DeAngelis on a Chester County highway, state police say. Lucian Robert-Popdan Li, 19, of Lititz, succumbed to his injuries on Monday, July 17, troopers wrote in a release. Investigators have said DeAngelis was headed the wrong way on Route 202 in his GMC Sierra when he crashed head-on into Li's Volkswagen Taos just after midnight on Friday, July 14.
