Convicted Felon Puts Corrections Officer In Chokehold At Cumberland County Prison, Police Say A 30-year-old convicted felon — in his third prison in six months — is facing new charges after putting a corrections officer in a chokehold, the police announced on Tuesday, April 2.  Justin Miles Bookwalter of Huntingdon is accused of placing "the Corrections Officer in a headlock, while in the headlock the Corrections Officer was unable to breathe," the Middlesex Township police stated in the release.  This incident happened at Cumberland County Prison on March 27, 2024.  This is Bookwalter's third county prison stay since Oct. 31, 2023. NWS Extends Flood Watch, Wind Advisories In These Pennsylvania Counties As heavy rain moves out of Pennsylvania, the National Weather Service has extended flood watches and wind advisories for several Pennsylvania counties. What began on Tuesday is expected to continue, this means high wind speeds are expected to blow at 20 to 25 mph in the advisory zones. The stronger wind gusts could blow down tree limbs and some power lines.
