Although it is sunny and expected to remain so throughout the week, the National Weather Service is advising the public to be aware of the extreme cold.

Temperatures are expected to remain under 30 degrees Fahrenheit for the majority of the week, with a wind-chill that can make it feel even colder.

The NWS says although the wind chill temperature is not the actual temperature it can be a reminder for frostbite risks.
