Car Wrecked When It Slammed Into Utility Pole In Harrisburg

Derry Street in Harrisburg was closed for hours on Thursday morning when a car slammed into a utility, according to fire and rescue officials.

Swatara fire crews responded to the call of a crash at Francis Cadden Parkway & Derry Street around 6:30 a.m.

Upon arrival crews worked to extract the driver from the vehicle.

The driver's condition is unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
