Claire Miller, 14 of Manheim Township has been charged with in the stabbing death of her sister, Helen Miller 19, who was wheelchair-bound, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
Miller will appear for the hearing in Lancaster County Court virtual at 1:30 p.m.
The Lancaster County Coroner's Office ruled Helen Miller's death a homicide, saying that she had died from multiple stab wounds to the body back in February.
Claire Miller called the police herself stating, “I killed my sister.” according to court documents.
When officers arrived they found her covered in blood and “She directed them to the bedroom where they found her sister with a stab wound,” said Chief Rudzinski to the media at the time.
Helen was found in the bedroom with a blood-stained pillow over her face -- underneath it a knife stuck out of her neck-- according to court documents.
A witness told police that she was on the phone with Claire prior to the incident and indicated she had "suicidal and homicidal" thoughts, according to CBS21.
Miller was charged as an adult because homicide is not considered a delinquent act in Pennsylvania, she is eligible for bail.
One of Miller's TikTok videos went viral the day before the incident. Her account on the video-sharing app was apparently flagged for violating the app's community guidelines, which bans users who "promote or are engaged in violence," Business Insider reports.
