Football Player Posts Instagram Story Before Fatal Christmas Crash In Lehigh County

A 21-year-old former football player posted one final Instagram story before he was killed in a crash on Christmas Day in Lehigh County.

Dante M. Kaintz of Catasauqua was behind the wheel when he veered off the road and struck a tree on the 2200 block of Light Horse Harry Road around 7:20 p.m. in Lower Mancungie, the Lehigh County Coroner's Office said.

His final Instagram story remind live 14 hours after the crash: A bouquet of Christmas flowers.

The manner of death was ruled accidental and the cause as multiple blunt force injuries.

Records show Kaintz was a wide receiver for Catasaqua High School, having graduated in 2019.
