A gathering will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2 at Saint Joseph’s Church on Manor Avenue in Downingtown.

Cos' family asks those who have a favorite memory of him to write it down in advance of Wednesday's service and enter it into baskets, which will be provided.

The Downingtown community has been mourning the sudden loss of Villari after Daily Voice broke the news that he died by suicide when he jumped from the Route 322 bridge on Monday.

Villari was remembered as someone who was "lion-hearted, friendly and kind. A selfless people person, he brightened the lives of those around him," according to his obituary.

"Cos was a pure soul who taught his family what complete compassion is and delighted them with his enormous hugs and tender heart," his obit reads.

A GoFundMe campaign launched by Kiana Taniguchi had raised more than $40,000 as of Friday morning.

He is survived by his parents Josh and Flo Villari, siblings Guy, and Laila, grandparents Leonard (Debra) and Annette Villari, Paulo (Pansy) and Joyce Correa-Meyer, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, his obit reads.
