Coroner Called To Crash Along I-83 In Cumberland County

The Cumberland County coroner has been called to the scene of a crash along Interstate 83 on Friday morning, according to Emergency Dispatch Services.

The crash happened near Route 581 at mile marker 40.8 around 9:20 a.m.

The crash was first called a multi-vehicle accident but was later determined to be between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Traffic was slowed in the area and temporarily closed.

As of noon the traffic was still slow in the vicinity.
