Fire At Lancaster County High School Woodshop Forces Classes Online For Days
A fire at a high school wood shop forced the district to switch to online or remote learning for a minimum of two days, officials announced on Tuesday morning. Intially fire crews were called to Maheim Tonwship High School for a report of smoke showing at 5:18 p.m. on Monday, April 1, officials explained. The fire was found fire in a dust collector on the exterior of the high school off the wood shop. All on-campus students at Lehigh University will be required to get a COVID-19 vaccine in preparation for the upcoming fall semester, school officials announced Wednesday. "Across the world and on our campus, COVID-19 vaccination is important for allowing a return to normal life," school officials wrote in a statement.
