Coroner ID's Skeletal Remains Of 33-Year-Old Man Found In PA Park The remains of a 33-year-old man found in Allentown have been identified, the Lehigh County Coroner announced on Monday, Sept. 23.  Michael "Mike" Morrisey, 33, of Allentown, was last seen alive on Saturday, July 27, Coroner Daniel Buglio explained in an updated release. Man Struck Dead By Amtrak In Philly, Police Say A man was struck dead by an Amtrak in Philadelphia on Saturday night, Philadelphia Police announced on July 14.  The "John Doe" was struck by the Amtrak along the tracks at Harbison Avenue and Bridge Street in Mayfair at 9:43 p.m. on July 13, PPD detailed in the release.  The striking train, Engine 52, had been heading south, according to the police. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at 10:13 p.m. Additional information was unavailable at the time of publishing. Body Of Man, 30, Pulled From Schuylkill River, Police Say (Video) The body of a 30-year-old man was pulled from the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia Tuesday, June 18, police said. Video shared to the Citizen App shows a Philadelphia Marine Unit at the scene on the 2400 block of Walnut Street. A spokesperson for the city police department said the man, identified only as John Doe, was pronounced dead at 6:16 p.m.

Man's Body Recovered From Schuylkill River: Philadelphia Police The body of a man was recovered from the Schuylkill River on Easter Sunday, police said. The body was found floating in the river around 3:40 p.m. near Spring Garden Street, bringing a marine unit to the scene, Philadelphia police said. The deceased has been identified as a black male in his 30s, known as "John Doe." He was pronounced deceased at 5:10 p.m. by Medic 13. Preliminary assessments indicate no signs of trauma or physical wounds. Teen Killed After Shot Multiple Times In Lawncrest, Philly PD (Developing) An approximately 18-year-old man has been killed in a shooting in Philadelphia's Lawncrest neighborhood, authorities announced late on Thursday night.  The Black man was shot five times in his upper body around 8:54 p.m. on Feb. 15, the Philadelphia Police Department detailed in a release.  He was found shot on Rising Sun Avenue in the 2nd district. Autobody Shop Finds Body In Trunk Of Nissan, Philadelphia Police Say Mechanics at a Philadelphia autobody shop made an unusual discovery in the trunk of a Nissan on Friday afternoon police announced that evening.  The "partially decomposed body" of a Black man in his mid-30s was found in the trunk of a silver Nissan Maxim at an autobody shop in the 2300 block of South 63rd Street around 1:17 p.m. on Jan, 26, police detailed in the release.
