Yeury Antonio Jimenez-Santiago was arrested for simple assaults and terroristic threats after a domestic abuse incident was reported at a home in the 400 block of South 15th Street in Harrisburg on Aug. 7 2022— but police had just begun to uncover what was really going on in the home, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

A 13-year-old girl and her mother came to the door that night, and the girl had bruises on her face and blood dripping from her nose, so an interview with Children's Advocacy Center was scheduled. During the interview she told authorities Jimenez-Santiago punched in the face when she tried to stop him from raping her mother—again, as the girl revealed that was a regular occurrence beginning in 2021 when he was 27, according to the criminal complaint.

She told authorities that, Jimenez-Santiago would frequently break into the house by breaking locks on doors or glass in the window attacking her and her mom. But this night, when she tried to call the police, her grabbed her iphone and broke it. Then he pointed a gun at her and her mother and threatened to kill them, as detailed in the affidavit.

During the interview, the girl also said that Jimenez-Santiago had previously come into her room on separate occasions, touching her leg, thigh, and knee while commenting how she had a "better body than her mom," as written in the court documents.

The girl's mother was later interviewed by the police and explained how he would break-in and rape her. She gave an example of the violent nature of the assaults, saying he would hold her hands behind her back force her to perform oral sex or vaginally rape her while she was having an epileptic episodes and was unable to provide consent, the police detailed in the court documents.

Both the mother and daughter separately told authorities these incidents repeatedly happened until the night he was arrested.

It is unclear if there was any connection between the mom and her child and Jimenez-Santiago prior to the burglaries and violent assaults.

He was charged with the following for these incidents on Thursday, March 30, 2023, the police stated in a release:

  • Rape by forcible compulsion.
  • Endangering the welfare of a child.
  • Indecent assault.
  • Burglary.
  • Simple assault.

  • Sexual assault.

Prior to the domestic assault arrest in August, he was released on $50,000 on Dec. 20, 2021 after being arrested on the following charges made in connection with an incident on Dec. 5 of that year:

  • Possession of firearm prohibited.

His plea court hearing for that case was continued on March 23, 2023, according to the latest update on that court docket.
