Keivon Abraham of Abington was found with a gunshot wound to the chest on the 2400 block of North Clarion Street early on Monday, May 29, city police told Daily Voice.

No arrests have been made in connection with his death and investigators have not revealed a suspected motive, the outlet says.

Loved ones say the teen was a sophomore at Abington High School. The campus community observed a moment of silence on Tuesday, May 30 in their late classmate's memory, CBS Philadelphia reported.

On a GoFundMe campaign page, people close to the teen said he was hoping to get a summer job at an area car dealership  "so he didn't need to ask his Grandmother for back-to-school stuff in the fall."

Now, those organizers say they're raising money to help his grandmother pay for his funeral.

"We hope (...) to ease some of the burdens during this unbearable time for their family," they said.
