Arlene Pecheco Figueroa, 36, of the first book of Gay Street, Christiana, "seriously injured" in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 41 and Pine Creek Drive in Sadsbury Township at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's office. A multiple-vehicle crash temporarily closed PA 581 in Central Pennsylvania on Thursday, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice. Someone was struck by a vehicle in South Central Pennsylvania on Wednesday afternoon, authorities say. The pedestrian or bicyclist was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Heidlersburg and Old Harrisburg roads in Tyrone Township just before 2 p.m. on Nov. 8, according to Adams County Emergency dispatchers. Multiple EMS, and fire companies from Biglerville, York Springs, Heidlersburg, and Gettysburg, as well as state police have responded to the incident. Hundreds of pigs are being rounded up on a Pennsylvania highway on Tuesday afternoon, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.
