Police responded to an animal cruelty report in the 300 block of South Hickory Lane on Sunday just before 5 p.m.
Upon arrival police found the beheaded kitten saying, "the eviscerated [kitten] had injuries consistent with disembowelment." They said it appeared to be a clean cut, exposing the kitten's intestines.
Mylo Latour, 21 of York, was arrested for a felony and a misdemeanor change of animal cruelty for allegedly doing this to his 22-year-old sister Flor's pet.
Latour is currently in the Adams County Prison in lieu of $15,000 in bail.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 16 at 11 a.m.
