The police incident ended around 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, according to an updated release by the East Pennsboro Township Police Department.
"This incident is now cleared. Residents can resume normal activity," the police said.
The suspect being sought was reportedly having a mental health crisis and was found in the woods by Tower Road, according to ABC27.

All the East Pennsboro Area Schools have been locked down, and nearby residents are being asked to lock their doors due to a "police incident," the East Pennsboro Police Department announced on Thursday, May 18, 2023.
The district has sent letters to the students families, reading in part:
"The students and staff at the High School, Middle School and East Pennsboro Elementary School are currently in a secure lockdown in response to a directive issued by the East Pennsboro Police Department regarding an incident near campus."
Residents are reporting seeing a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter was also seen in the area, as well as PSP SERT near Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Details about the incident have not been released by the police who only say the incident is in the area of Valley and Salt roads.
A suspect is supposedly being sought in an active incident in the area, according emergency dispatch.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity is asked to call 911.
