This free event— which includes refreshments— will be every Friday night, beginning June 30 starting around sunset and ending around 8 p.m.
Families are encouraged to carpool and arrive early to ensure parking, "as the new Chutes and Ladders Playground is expected to attract more traffic than normal," The City of Harrisburg's Communications Director Matt Maisel said.
Families can bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, as the movies will project onto a big screen in the bandshell.
The 2023 movie schedule is as follows:
- June 30 – Encanto
- July 7 – Remember The Titans
- July 14 – Clifford
- July 21 – Spider-Man Into The Spiderverse
- July 28 – Space Jam: A New Legacy
- August 4 – Annie
- August 11 – Minions
- August 18 – Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
Rain-outs are possible, and the city will announce any cancelations on its social media.
