Woman Found Dead In Susquehanna River ID’d: Police

A woman whose body was found floating in the Susquehanna River near a boat launch in Montour County has been identified as a 42-year-old Scranton resident, authorities announced on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Katrina Marie Seguine was discovered near 1510 River Drive in Mahoning Township, according to a joint release by the Montour County Coroner’s Office and Mahoning Township Police Department. Officials initially asked for the public’s help identifying her after her body was pulled from the river on Sunday, June 1.

Seguine was described as about 5-foot-4 and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds, with distinctive tattoos on her arms and legs.

Investigators are now asking for assistance in piecing together her final movements.

“Authorities are seeking assistance from the public regarding the woman’s activities and whereabouts prior to her death,” the release said.

Her last known Facebook post was about watching "John Wick Chapters 1–4", shared on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 8:43 a.m. She listed her hometown and residence as Scranton, Pennsylvania, and identified as single.

On LinkedIn, Seguine described herself as self-employed under the brand “LeaninTrina,” working freelance in cosmetology for nearly two decades. Her listed skills included cosmetology education and interpersonal strengths like “Great Personality.”
