A crash that sent a car careening over 100 feet down an embankment in West Bethlehem Township has claimed two lives, Pennsylvania State Police Troop B announced on Monday, Dec. 9.
The incident happened on Clarksville Road around 9:22 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, when a vehicle veered off the roadway, overturned, and landed on its roof, troopers said.
A female occupant was ejected from the vehicle and died from her injuries at the scene, police said.

A prosecutor in Pennsylvania is apparently seeking the death penalty for two men arrested for killing a convenience store worker while he made a sandwich last February, according to a new report by the Observer Reporter.
Sidney Devon McLean, 32, of McKeesport, and Devell Dexter Christian, 32, of White Oak, were arraigned Friday on various charges including homicide.

A Pennsylvania woman was sentenced to 23 months in prison and two years probation after she admit to keeping her disabled sister in a wooden cage and providing her with little to no medical care, authorities announced.
Leona Biser, of Washington County, was charged and release on bail on Jan. 15, 2020, then jailed in August of last year for failing to show up in court.
