Woman Struck By Vehicle At Busy Lancaster County Intersection
A woman was injured after being hit by a vehicle at a busy intersection in Lancaster County on Tuesday morning, Dec. 3, emergency dispatchers said. The pedestrian was struck at Route 896 and Lincoln Highway East/Route 30 in East Lampeter Township around 8:15 a.m., authorities said. She was transported to a hospital for treatment. Her condition was not immediately available. Police remained at the scene as of late Tuesday morning. East Lampeter Township police are investigating the crash. This is a developing story. Fake Cop With Lights, Siren Stops Vehicle In Chester County: PSP
He dressed like a cop and used lights and siren to pull someone over in Chester County, but wasn't a real police officer, authorities said. The coroner has identified the man killed in a crash in Paradise Township on Friday morning. Nickolas Dewey, 47 of Christiana, was pronounced dead at 8:42 a.m. on Oct. 13, by the Lancaster County Coroner's office. The crash happened at the intersection of White Oak Road and Route 896/Georgetown Road at 6:30 a.m., according to LCWC. The two-vehicle crash involved a pickup truck and a sedan, and Dewey was the driver and sole occupant of the sedan, according to the coroner's release. Smoked Meat: Fire Damages Butcher Shop In Lancaster County
A fire damaged part of a butch shop near Strasburg on Tuesday morning. Fire crews were called to Rocky Ridge Meats at 240 block of Hartman Bridge Road just before 4:30 a.m. for a smoker fire reported by the owner of the shop who saw the fire from his home located next door.
