Fred Shankweiler, the kayaker rescued near the Statue of Liberty on the Susquehanna River, is sharing harrowing details of his ordeal following his dramatic rescue by local fire companies. Shankweiler, who was attempting to retrieve a crashed drone for fall photos, admitted that his determination led to reckless decisions. Lebanon Mom Dies After Crashing Through 2 Central PA Buildings
A 47-year-old mom from Lebanon died after crashing into two buildings Sunday morning, authorities said. Police responding to Linglestown Road and North 6th Street found Amy Krick's vehicle had left the roadway and hit two structures around 7 a.m., Susquehanna police said. Krick's vehicle appeared to have struck one side of Salon 160 then went through the other side and into a brick house, PennLive reports. A sailor and fireman was slapped by an angry woman on Sept. 11 who thought he was faking his military status, as seen in a viral TikTok video. Harrisburg native, Sean Nolte Jr., was in his military uniform at Central Pizza in Berlin, Connecticut located at 96 Mill Street when an angry woman started shouting at his that he was disgracing the US military by wearing a fake uniform.
