A missing Cheltenham woman may be in danger, according to an alert from the Cheltenham Township Police Department on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Madelyn Edwards, 81, was last seen in the area of Old Farm Road, Cheltenham Township at 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, police said. She's described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. Edwards was last seen driving a gray 2017 Hyundai Accent with Pennsylvania license plate MLJ-4374, according to police. Fatal 3-Vehicle Crash On PA Turnpike: Officials
A fatal crash closed Interstate 76/ PA Turnpike for over five hours on Saturday, Sept. 14 officials confirmed to Daily Voice the following Monday. The deadly three-vehicle crash happened at mile marker 268.4 in Penn Township, Lancaster County around 11:30 a.m., officials detailed. A detour began being used on I-76 West at Exit 286 - Reading starting at 12:35 p.m. and ending just before 5:45 p.m., according to officials. Second Tractor-Trailer Crash On PA Turnpike Interchange To Rt 283: PennDOT
Yet another tractor-trailer rolled over on the interchange of Route 283 with the PA Turnpike on Thursday, Aug. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The man who died in Monday morning’s fatal turnpike crash has been identified. A utility truck crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on I-76 by mile marker 246.6 at 9:17 a.m. according to PA Turnpike officials. The utility truck driver died at the scene and a coroner was called, according to Emergency Dispatch Services.
