Election Day 2024 is in the books, and Pennsylvanians have chosen their next representatives in Congress, according to multiple outlets' projections based on unofficial results. A member of the Drexel University Men's Basketball Team was found dead Wednesday, Aug. 2, various news outlets report citing the school. Terrence Butler, a rising junior from Upper Marlboro, MD, was found dead in his on-campus apartment, NBC10 and 6abc report. The 6-foot-7 forward was named MVP of Bishop McNamara, and was studying engineering at Drexel. Death Of Beloved Soccer Coach, Engineer Rocks South Jersey Communities
The sudden death of a beloved soccer coach, engineer and father has left a South Jersey community devastated. Thomas G. Pagani, of Robbinsville, died Nov. 10 at the age of 52, his obituary says. Born in Newark, Pagani grew up in Kearny and moved to East Windsor before settling in Robbinsville, where he had lived for over a decade, according to his memorial. Pagani attended NJIT and joined the Tau Lambda Chi (TAX) Fraternity while earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Army Vet Struck Dead By Lighting While Playing Golf In Pennsylvania
Severe weather has claimed the life of a Pennsylvania man, who was struck by lightning during a round of golf. Joseph Slivinski, 71, of Lackawanna County, was struck by lightning while playing golf on Friday at Pine Hills Golf Course, according to the county coroner. Slivinski was attempting to find shelter when he was fatally injured, he died at the golf course around 1:30 p.m. A South Jersey golfer was struck and killed by lightning last month.
