Explosion Injures One, Damages Vehicles At PA Turnpike Service Plaza
An explosion rocked the Blue Mountain Service Plaza on the Pennsylvania Turnpike early Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police. The blast occurred in the rear commercial vehicle parking lot of the westbound plaza at mile marker 202.5 in Hopewell Township, Cumberland County, at approximately 4:55 a.m., authorities said. A preliminary investigation revealed the explosion was caused by a propane leak inside a 2003 Ford RV with Delaware registration, troopers reported. The vehicle was destroyed in the incident. Fire Engulfs RV, Van In Central PA: Officials (

A fire ripped through an RV and van in Lebanon County on Monday morning, Oct. 7, fire officials explained. The Neptune Fire Company was called to "a structure fire" in the 300 block of Eagles Peak Road at Eagle's Peak Campground in Millcreek Township at 5:13 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find an RV and van engulfed in flames. It took approximately two hours for crews to clear the scene.

: Decomposed Man, Nude Woman Found Dead In PA RV, Police Say
Two bodies found in an RV in Philadelphia have prompted a homicide investigation, police announced on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 14. The police were called to a report of two bodies discovered inside an RV parked at 2400 North Philip Street at 2:06 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14. An unidentified man "was found in a severely decomposed state on the bed inside the RV," the police said.
