A father of two died following a crash into a tree on Wednesday night, July 17, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio announced the following morning. Johny M. Roustic, 51, of East Allen Township, crashed on Pembroke Road near East Washington Avenue in Bethlehem around 8 p.m., city police detailed in a separate release. An Allentown Catholic high school has announced the death of one of its students. Gabriella "Gabby" Velazquez, a rising sophomore at Allentown Central Catholic High School died suddenly, the school announced on Friday, July 12. A cause of death was not provided. World Cup Easton, an area cheer squad, said Velazquez was "a vibrant, loud, positive light." "She always kept you smiling and laughing. Two men have died after a car crash in Philadelphia early Tuesday morning, June 25, city police say. Authorities said it happened around 1:40 a.m. A southbound sedan on North Broad Street collided head-on with a northbound Toyota Rav 4 near West Hunting Park Avenue, according to PPD. Authorities are investigating a death in a Northampton Township home. Police said they were called for a welfare check around 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16 and found a person dead inside a residence.
