Tractor-Trailer Rollover Cause Closure At PA Turnpike Ramp In Lancaster
A tractor-trailer rollover crash has caused a closure at the on-ramp for the Pennsylvania Turnpike/Interstate 76, officials said. The tractor-trailer flipped at Colonel Howard Boulevard in the eastbound lanes leading to the PA Turnpike/I-76 entrance from Route 222 around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, according to East Cocalico Township police and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. "Both lanes will be closed for approximately 1-2 hours," the police wrote in a release. There is no word of any injuries. Check back here for possible updates.

A car was found sliced in half on Route 222, Adamstown firefighters announced on Monday, Oct. 7. While heading to a training in Berks County, volunteers with the Adamstown Fire Company volunteers were called to a single vehicle accident on Rt 222. The crash was in the northbound lanes between the Exit: I-76 Turnpike/ PA Route 272 - Denver/PA Turnpike and Exit: PA 272 South/PA 568 East - Adamstown/Knauers around 7:30 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. The front of an SUV was crushed when it was struck by farming equipment being towed by a pick-up truck on Thursday morning, Aug. 29, the Robert Fulton Fire Company announced. The collision happened in the 1700 block of Robert Fulton Highway/Route 222 near Fulton View Road in Little Britain Township at 5:54 a.m., according to a release by the fire company. Water Balloons Thrown From Bridge Damage Cars On Rt 222: Ephrata Police
Cars were damaged after items thought to be water balloons were thrown from an overpass, Ephrata police announced on Friday, Aug. 2. Two vehicles were heading north on Route 222 when they were struck by the falling items at the East Mohler Church Road overpass, around midnight on Aug, 1. "One vehicle sustained a large dent to the hood, and the other sustained a cracked windshield," the police stated in the release.
