Man Found Unconscious, Dies On Lancaster Street: Police A man was found unconscious on East Walnut Street and later pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts, Lancaster City police said. Lancaster City police officers were called to the 1st block of East Walnut Street for a reported medical emergency on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police said in a release. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive adult male and immediately attempted life-saving measures using an automated external defibrillator. Tragedy: Man Found Unresponsive In Pool Pronounced Dead In Central PA A 71-year-old man was pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in his Central Pennsylvania pool over the weekend, authorities said. The unidentified man was found in the pool at his home on the 3100 block of Grandview Road in Penn Township, around 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, York County Coroner Pamela Gay said. Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:20 p.m., Gay said. An autopsy at Lehigh Valley Hospital is scheduled for 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 4.
