Gunfire In PA Home Leads To Police Standoff, Arrest: DA
A Spring City man is in police custody after a "domestic violence-related incident" led to a standoff on Monday night, April 29, according to the DA's Office. Daniel Montalto, 52, is charged with aggravated assault and related offenses, prosecutors said in a release. Spring City police said they were called to Montalto's home for a reported domestic incident and found a "victim with obvious physical injuries." SWAT Standoff Ends Peacefully In Honey Brook: Report
UPDATE: A SWAT standoff ended peacefully Thursday, April 28 in Honey Brook, Daily Local reports. PA State Police, local police, and the Chester County Emergency Response Team were dispatched, along with EMS, on a report of a barricaded person with a gun on Patton Drive in Lazy Acres mobile home around 9:15 a.m., the outlet says. After several hours of negotiations, the man peacefully surrendered around 3:30 p.m., according to the outlet. No injuries were reported. Route 322 was temporarily closed due to the incident. HIM? Police Search For Man Who Allegedly Shot Brother Inside Coatesville Home
Police in Chester County are seeking the public's help locating a Coatesville father who they say shot his brother while his eight-month-old child was present, authorities said. Responding to a report of a gunshot victim, arriving officers found Luis Martinez, 24, with a gunshot wound to his upper left leg at a home in the 80 block of South 6th Avenue at approximately 10:30 a.m. Monday, according to Coatesville police.
