A Pennsylvania gunman who shot and killed a 17-year-old boy during a botched home invasion robbery in 2017 was sentenced to life in prison, authorities in Chester County said.
Ricardo Rivera, 28, of Reading, was found guilty of second-degree murder, robbery, burglary, conspiracy, and related offenses, for the shooting death of 17-year-old David Doyle III (AKA Davy Mike) at a Pottstown home, Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan announced Monday, April 25.

Chester County Man Convicted In Deadly Carjacking Of 31-Year-Old Victim
A Chester County man was found guilty of murdering a 31-year-old Lancaster County man during a carjacking three years ago, authorities said.
Hakeem Smith, 33, of Oxford, was convicted on charges of second-degree murder, robbery of a motor vehicle, and related offenses for the shooting death of Samuel Algarin, of Quarryville, in Sept. 2018, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office.
After spending the evening with his mother and two sons, Algarin picked up his car in a Lower Oxford parking lot to drive back to his mother’s house, authorities said.

Philly Man Found Guilty Of Robbery, Burglary In 2019 West Chester Home Invasion
A Philadelphia man was found guilty of robbery and burglary for a 2019 home invasion in West Chester, in which he also shot one of the occupants, authorities said.
West Chester police were called to a home on Matlack Street on Sept. 14, 2019, on a report of a man with a gun, according to the Chester County District Attorney's office.
Shacube Young, 31, had broken into the home demanding drugs and money from the four occupants, authorities said.
He ended up shooting one of the occupants.
Then, finding no drugs, he fled with money he stole from the victims, authorities said.
