School Bus With 9 Students Hit By Fleeing Dump Truck In South Central PA (
Update
)
A dump truck struck a school bus carrying nine students in York and fled the scene, York County Department of Emergency Services confirmed on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The crash happened at South Queen Street and East College Avenue in York City at approximately 8:18 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers. No injuries were reported among the students or the driver, authorities said. The York City Police Department is investigating the hit-and-run incident. A HazMat crew has been called to a business on Tuesday, Oct. 15, according to the York County Department of Emergency Services. The incident happened at Guardian CSC located at 6000 Susquehanna Plaza Drive in Hellam Township around 9:20 a.m. There are no reports of anyone being taken to the hospital at this time. A car plowed into a home in Etters early Thursday morning, Sept. 12, fire officials announced. Firefighters were called to car into a home in the 2300 block of Old Trail Road at 12:36 a.m., according to the Newberry Township Fire Department and York County Department of Emergency Services. The front end of the sedan was inside the home when firefighters arrived, as seen in photos they shared. No injuries were reported. The estimated cost of the damage was unavailable.

Firefighter Taken To Hospital After Red Lion Rowhome Blaze: Officials
A firefighter was briefly hospitalized following a rowhome fire in Red Lion, officials explained on Friday, Sept. 6. The blaze broke out in the 200 block of South Main Street at 1:21 a.m., according to the York County Department of Emergency Services. The firefighter was taking to the hospital for dehydration but has since been released, fire officials said. Two units were damaged and the three residents have been assisted by the Red Cross. A two alarm fire broke out at a paper mill in York County early Wednesday morning, Sept. 4, fire officials announced later in the day. Malfunction equipment near a conveyor belt appears to have sparked the blaze at the Pixelle Pulp Wood Distribution Center located at 5689 York Road in Spring Grove, North Codorus Township at 2:20 a.m., according to Chief Carr with the North Codorus Fire Company and the York County Department of Emergency Services. Driver Injured When Car Slams Into Garage In York County: Officials
A driver was taken to the hospital after striking the side of a garage on Thursday morning, Aug. 8. The sedan pictured struck the detached garage in the 3500 block of Shaffers Church Road in Codorus Township at 6:49 a.m., the Glen Rock Hose & Ladder Company detailed in a release. A vehicle crash into a fence at a Route 30 ramp is causing some delays on Monday, Aug. 5, according to PennDOT's 511PA. The crash happened at the Route 30 Westbound on-ramp at Kreutz Creek Road in Hellam Township around 11:15 a.m., according to the York County Department of Emergency Services dispatch log. The tractor-trailer struck the First National Bank on South Queen Street, PA Route 74 by the intersection of St. Charles Way just after the ramps for Interstate 83, according to the York County Department of Emergency Services. The 53-year-old man who died in a head-on crash involving a tractor-trailer on Lincoln Highway/US Route 30 has been identified, according to the York County Coroner's office on Thursday, July 25.
