Federal Court Overturns Life Sentence, Murder Conviction Of PA Man A man serving a life sentence following a murder conviction has had his conviction overturned, the Lebanon County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday, Sept. 5.  Eddie Williams, 50, of Lebanon, had been convicted of murder in the first degree, robbery, and numerous related offenses on Oct. 14, 2015, the DA explained.  An order granting Williams's petition for a writ of habeas corpus was affirmed in federal court on Aug. 13, 2024, according to federal court documents obtained by Daily Voice.
