Woman In Critical Condition After Shootings Injure Five People In Central PA: Police
Five people were injured— one seriously— in three separate weekend shootings in central Pennsylvania, police say. The first shooting happened in the 300 block of East Market Street in York at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, City police say. Three men were hurt— two 34-year-olds and a 33-year-old— all three victims were taken to Wellspan York Hospital. Former High School Swim Coach Arrested On Child Porn Charges In Central PA, Again: Police
A former swim and diving coach has been arrested on child pornography charges after he served time for child pornography and corrupting minors in a neighboring county, according to police and court documents. Patrick Eugene Fatta, 49, most recently of Harrisburg, previously worked as the swimming assistant coach and served as the diving coach for Hempfield High School and Manheim Township School District for several years through fall 2014, according to Manheim School District officials at the time. House Party Shooting In Harrisburg Under Investigation
An altercation between two men ended in gunfire on Friday, according to Harrisburg police. Police respond to reports of shots fired in the 2300 block of North 2nd Street at 11 p.m. Upon arrival police found the shooting was a house party and two men were in a fight. One man opened fire, shortly after police arrived-- resulting in a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the man he was fighting. The victim was transported to a local hospital. Weekend Harrisburg Fire Displaces 4 People
A Harrisburg fire displaced two adults and two children on Saturday. Crews were called to an apartment building fire in the 1100 block of North 2nd Street around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Smoke was coming from the second floor balcony facing the 200 block of Sassafras Street when crews arrived. Thanks to working smoke detectors the residents were able to escape safely. The four people were cared for by the American Red Cross of Greater Pennsylvania. The fire was contained to the kitchen and porch.
