Gunman Killed In Jersey Shore Shootout With Police Identified UPDATE: Authorities on Wednesday identified the out-of-state man who charged at police and was gunned down after he shot and wounded a detective trying to serve a warrant in Long Branch last week. Mark D. Walker II, 34, of Woodbridge, Va. shot the detective in the leg before barricading himself inside the Chelsea Avenue apartment last Friday, Acting New Jersey Attorney General Andrew J.
