Allentown High Schooler Accused Of Making Hoax 'Active Shooter' Threat
A 14-year-old William Allen High School student made the phony 911 call about an active shooter that brought authorities to campus last week, according to Allentown police. The unnamed teen is charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, and communication with 911 systems for a non-emergency, the department said in a release. His case will be adjudicated in Lehigh County Juvenile Court, they added. Delco Teens In Stolen Car Were Armed With Stolen Gun, Police Claim
A pair of teenagers found driving in an allegedly stolen car were also carrying a stolen firearm, say authorities in Darby Township. A car reported stolen out of Marple Township was spotted in the northbound lane of Sharon Avenue in Sharon Hill around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, police wrote in a release. Officers blocked the car at the intersection with Chester Pike forcing the driver to stop, the department said. A Delaware County high school was briefly locked down Thursday, Dec. 8 after administrators spotted a gun in a student's backpack that turned out to be fake. In a statement issued to parents and staff Thursday afternoon, Wallingford-Swarthmore School District Superintendent Wagner Marseille said staff at Strath Haven High School in Wallingford were informed that a student might have had a firearm in their bag. Radnor High School Student Accused Of Making Bomb Threats
A Delaware County high school student is in police custody after cops connected them to a series of bomb threats at Radnor High School, authorities said. Criminal allegations have been filed against the juvenile suspect, whose identity will not be released due to their age, local police said. The minor was also referred to juvenile court. A Norristown teen who accidentally shot himself will be standing trial as an adult for his leadership role in a major Pennsylvania gun trafficking organization, authorities said. Rahajahi Taylor Batchelor, 17, was among nine other adults charged in late September for illegally obtaining and reselling 44 firearms in Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia counties in July and August 2020, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R.
